    Finishers:

    2014 is tasting fantastic. Flavors of big grapefruit/orange rind/pine hops; with raisin/plum dark fruits; and caramel, brown sugar, toffee, toasted biscuit malts. Balanced sticky/resin and creamy/slick medium-full body mouthfeel. Good resinous hop dryness. Love this beer after around a year+ of age. Still got a few of these '14 left, and one random '11 that has been in my closet for a long time. Might crack it open this year. Need to go find some lingering '15 packs to get my aging rotation going again.

    Awesome imperial brown! Flavors of big caramel, brown sugar, maple, toffee, brown bread, nuttiness, toasted oak, chocolate, and light coffee/vanilla; with some herbal/light peppery hops. Light-moderate herbal bitterness and oak spiciness on the finish. Nice creamy and lightly drying finish from oak/hop spice. Glad I was able to find 6 pack of this recently. Pretty big on the oak, but it's super complex and really smooth.

    Great BSDA as always. Flavors of big of big raisin, prune, fig, date, banana, pepper, clove, caramel, toffee, brown sugar, molasses, toasted dark bread, and light nuttiness. Nice amount of peppery yeast on the finish; with some bready creaminess and light stickiness in the mouthfeel. Fairly dry, touch of yeast tartness. Lightly warming finish from ABV. Very well rounded in completely, with balanced yeast and malt notes. Glad I decided to revisit this beer a few months ago, did not have it for nearly 4 years prior. Found a 1+ year 4 pack, and I love it. Will definitely pick up again, as they are general shelf sitters.

    Tried Tommyknocker Butt Head Bock for the first time tonight. A terrific brew that I am looking forward to reviewing. Could be a dangerous beer as the 8.2% ABV is not evident in the taste. If you enjoy malts, definitely give this one a try!

    Ending on a Wiseacre Ananada IPA. Adams was great tonight, as were the 2 cogs in the wheel. I think we match up well against the Warriors, we shall see; worthy opponents, as were the Spurs. If this is Duncan's last game; sad, but hell even Haveljick ( murdered the spelling I'm sure ) had to retire. His greatness is obvious despite the lack of hype surrounding him.

    If you like documentaries because you would rather watch personal stories instead of million dollar computer generated explosions, you have to check out Searching for Sugar Man. It reminds me of the ESPN documentary on Roger Brown that I watched earlier this week. If you don't know him (Brown), look him up. The documentary made him seem like the greatest basketball player who never made it to the NBA. And if you don't know Sixto Rodriguez, take 33 minutes and listen to this album. You won't regret it.
