Guess it's my turn to start this...
Mollusk • Briny Deep Oyster Stout
I was going to say I was surprised the thread hasn't started by 7:30 cst, and then @JouerAvecLeFeu beat me by about a minute. Easing into Monday with this, because anything barrel aged I have might just kill me right now. Cheers!
I don't have many good morning beer options as I'm still working my way through leftovers from a few weeks ago.
Veltin's PIls - a smooth beer!
HopDevil IPA at the Victory brewery in Parkersburg, PA.
The food there was excellent too.
Catching up, (I don't know how to post pics with my IPhone).
At Troegs brewery in Hershey, PA. A sampler of Perpetual IPA, Hopback Amber Ale and DreamWeaver wheat. Another brewery with great food.
good morning all!
was very hopeful, but very dissapointed.
Donated the rest of the bottle to the New York City sewer system
i should have just started with coffee in the first place
thats much better.
heres to a great week!
Had a few over the weekend. Started with one of my favorites. Coffee and whiskey, has everything I like!
Shared these with a friend, this one a Bordeaux BA Quintuple from Holy City, amazing. 14.5% but smooth as butter.
Another winner from TG!
Brought this one back from Fresno with me. Honestly, the best part of Fresno. If you're ever traveling there, hit up T-S, great brewery with a wide variety of beers. This one was amazing.
A few shots from the island, as usual!
Hanauma Bay Ridge Trail, this was after the rain shower off to the left had passed by, we got drenched.
Middle part of the island. It's nice that there's still wide open spaces here, seems miles away from the ugly concrete jungle of Honolulu.
Okole maluna y'all!
What beats not working on a Monday?
Not working, and Ruination, of course... lol
My customary early Monday morning beer while I wait for the grass to dry. A little rain and nitrogen over the weekend has brought it back to life which means more work again. Going to relax in the meantime on a gorgeous day. Let's have a great week!
Good Monday Morning!
Went for an early ride before it heats up again. Cheers!
-A Fresh Slice for a mid-day break, refreshing, with a wheat, coriander touch
On to a mowing beer, although I find the 6.3% ABV a bit too high for refreshment. And listening to this crap:
Anchor Go West! IPA
Finishing this Valerie from Saint Benjamin Brewing now. Second pic is a flight from Cypress Brewing in Edison NJ. First visit there, enjoyed some great beers, just before heading to the Disturbed concert. Great night.
Same beer, new label.
Nice hazy body with a broad palatte of flavors here but mostly heavy on cloying caramel and bitter pine. If you like lots of caramel and pine in your iPA's, I'd recommend this.
Someone left a MELVIN Hubert MPA last night... so I just cracked it. Smooth. Maltier, a little sweeter than your typical pale ale, but nice...good stuff. Happy Monday.
Ha-ha - here I am again...
Half day and this is helping me with it raining.
Drove down state for some, Mispillion Catcaller raspberry Berliner at the brewery, cheers!
Some work this morning and now a lunch stop at Gramercy Tavern.
Evil Twin Falco IPA
Color me impressed, this is the best beer I've had from Jackie O's and it's not like they make bad beer
On the first page two days in a row?? I must be on vacation or something....
Beautiful day here in Southeast Virginia. I had to bring at least some NY dankness with me, of course. De-licious!
Lager and quac with red/yellow/orange mini matos and 3 different hot peppers, nice.
Very good IPA, lots of tropic fruit, marmelade
Now up Mispillion Not Today Satan, solid IPA, well hopped, cheers!
Yikes. First time I've ever posted three times on one page. I am on vacation so I give zero fu... cares Celebrating Colorado Day with Breckenridge. And I promise I won't have a 4th post on WBAYDN until later. Maybe page 3 if I really behave. And here's one of my very favorite songs:
Sorry about no further posts yesterday. German Fest drained most of my battery.
Grapefruit Radler at the Sprecher store:
And bands at multiple locations:
Working on a half-growler of Elysian Space Dust IPA.. cheers!
Knocked out some nice one's this weekend.
2014 Reserve Abyss
Logsdon Peche N Brett
Sipping on this rich brew
Time for a break.
Einstok Icelandic Smoked Porter (Akureyri, Iceland)
Artwork: Very simple and classy. Nordic aesthetically-pleasing minimalism at its best.
Appearance: Jet black with a very thick, tan, head that has good retention and excellent lacing.
Nose: Coffee roastiness all around.
Taste: Very bitter at first but sweet and syrupy in the aftertaste (especially as it warms up). Notes of coffee, cocoa powder.
Mouthfeel: Medium body with plenty of gentle carbonation.
Overall: As a big time Iceland-o-phile, I'm not going to be very objective about this one. This is one cool beverage. It's a very enjoyable beer which however perhaps lacks in complexity. I still can't believe that we can get this beer here, all the way from remote Akureyri.
