    Doing some cellar diving and some drain pouring. I was really excited for this back in 2013ish. I purchased 2 bottles, it was a mess back then and even worse now. Oh well, it's not the end of the world. Cheers!

    Murphy's Stout (Cork, Republic of Ireland)

    Artwork: Typical Anglo-Irish look. Nothing too extravagant. Just the brewery's (and brew's) name with a small logo and some medals on display. Classic, if not somewhat boring.

    Appearance: This one has a great nitro look (the can contained a nitro doohickey). Once it all settles, it's jet-black, with a thick and velvet-like head that lasts for ever.

    Nose: Can't smell much other than the faintest hint of roastiness.

    Taste: After having recently drank some insanely flavorsome stouts and porters this one tastes very watered down.

    Mouthfeel: Fairly thin despite its appearance. Goes down easily, like water.

    Overall: A very sessionable stout, which to me sounds a bit like an oxymoron as I'm used to the american flavor-bomb (and booze-bomb) stouts.
