90s indie grunge fans, I see.

Anyone who names beers after Built To Spill and Pavement is more than worth a look in my book.

Cheers you all! =) This is my first oktoberfest. Crisp vienna and munich malts with a richness and a good crust on a soft bread. They say they used whole flower german hops. I don't know what that means but these hops are both modest and full in their flavor on the palate. There is spice and floral and a bit of fruity herbal behind all that. It's a succulence as the beer finishes. crisp . just bubbly, dry and with a firm bitterness to outlast all that flavor. There is a soft sweetness to this beer that is not sugary or in the finish. It has to be the floral from the hops. That is what a crisp sweet flower petal tastes like . Earthy and very soft. Victory says they do whole flower hopping because it gives the fullest expression from the hops. Proper glassware.

Off early and about to head into the city for a pain management medical appointment. Figured I'd do my part to jump start the process....albeit, a bit "clandestinely".

Playing rich guy on my day off:astonished:
Korean lettuce wraps with black angus hanger steak marinated in apple juice and soy, grilled rare with ginger scallions, kimchi, aged sherry vinegar chili sauce, short grain rice with apple and pear bbq sauce.

Can't miss him....posing with outstretched arm holding a snifter of amazing suds! :grinning:

Not sure he ever leaves the beach or the arm ever finds its way back to his side.
