What beer are you drinking now? #1423

I just dropped my new truck off at the body shop after being rear-ended by an uninsured motorist. They say you shouldn't drown your sorrows in a bottle and I think that's good advice. So I opened a can instead.

 

When I first had this, I said I'd buy it again next chance I got. Well, chance stopped by and I grabbed one:


Oro de Calabaza - a little mixture of tart and funk, the latter seems like a base upon which the tart notes can dance, stealing the spotlight a bit .

 

If I didn't think my wife would hunt me down and brutally murder the both of us, I would be at your house for lunch every day!

Fall is in the air!

 

Looks like another sleepy Monday at the virtual bar. Time to crank it up a notch in technicolor! This BA Scotty from spring is tasting like Backwoods with 3 years on it. Smooth taste with a faded barrel presence. I really need to get drinking on some of this old stock before I head out west and bring home more.

 

This is the place to be from Dec thru March. Highs in the low 70s, and a few nights in the 40s, but most cool evenings with warm gulf breeze. :-)

 

The weekend is over. But not for me ! And it never seems to matter for most of us anyways, right? It was an outstanding weekend, and that means some outstanding glassware must have been used. In the theme of Stein Club Sunday (week 2), here are your Glass of the Day Awards collective efforts!

A day late on the Stein, ya schmuck!!!

 

Dude, I just want to reiterate what others have already said here.....your efforts are greatly appreciated! This stuff takes time and you clearly enjoy doing it. We all benefit as a result of your daily efforts on this thread, my friend!

 

I almost snagged a 4 pack of that earlier today but had a taste for some Pipeworks instead

Happy Monday ba. Chilling on another staycation all week. Starting w/ another bottle of fat tug, 7/30/16, and still drinking great.
