My go-to session stout at the moment. Flavourful, local and cheap!

 

Wow! Instant nostalgic like warm fuzzies for me. I miss those old labels (and their small brewery operation, to be perfectly honest). Enjoy that one!

Not sure it pairs well with egg salad but it's tasty on its own...

Happy Thirsty, Throwback, whatever you want to call it, Thursday BA's! First off, I'd like to thank @PatrickCT for revealing his true identity (avatar), as the country was getting concerned . Second, wow on the glassware game yesterday! Which brings us to todays very impressive, and Staff challenging Glass of the Day Awards!, which we considered turning over to @WesMantooth 's judgement .

GotD: This really was an easy choice at first, but in the end came down to a photo finish, so cheers and congrats to @JamFuel for his second GotD in as many days for this ridiculous handled tankard! Watch out @dcotom and @BeerVikingSailor ...this guy's aiming for the top !
2nd: Tulip, meets IPA glass, meets Candle Holder in @goingbrokeonbeer 's new goodwill find. Hope there was some left over pixie dust in that Peter Pan vessel to fly you away from Hurricane Matthew !
3rd: Out to @JoeBloe for a magic trick glass in what I believe is his first GotD mention! Congrats, and welcome to this extremely prestigious club !

Honorable mentions go out to @JamFuel again for a nice ceramic hour glass, and to @beerloserLI , who despite the Boots magical powers, will be the last of The Mets we will see this year (too soon?...sorry. All in good fun).

Thanks...lots of prep over the past day or so and now we can only hope for the best!

 

So the rehab on my right shoulder has gone ridiculously well. So well, in fact, that another part of my body (lower back) said "wait....you mean you aren't in pain anymore? Nonsense, I will fix that.." So now I will begin PT for THAT for another 6 weeks.
This one is yummy on a rainy, dreary day...which I never mind

Greeting, BAs! Haven't posted in a while. Haven't done much day drinking lately, but it's rainy and dreary and I ran 8 miles yesterday and am feeling entitled! This the last hoppy TG beer in my fridge and it's fantastic! The last batches of Sosus, King Sue, Pompeii and this beer, Zeelander, have been off the charts good. All the speculation about Mike: Mike is gone, Mike isn't actually brewing the beers these days-- be damned, this is truly a great beer and I'm so happy to be enjoying it! Happy thirsty Thursday, BAs!
