Welcome to the first ever Freaky Friday edition of the Glass of the Day Awards! ! The Staff thought we should have some fun this month waking the dead, or at least bring back some appropriate seasonal ware from their semi-permanent resting spots . Let's see what our disturbance has conjured up on this first ever installment. Mwwwwaaahahahahahah!

GotD: I believe @dcotom was tired of this recent competition from other BA's. Angered by this, he called on the spirit of the sea, and from Davey Jones arises this Skeleton hand glass, laden with a concoction as black as sin! Cheers and congrats!
2nd: Nosferatu and the Devil himself join forces in @austina3214 's Maudite goblet to reign terror on unsuspecting BA's.
3rd: @meanmutt lightened up the mood just a touch...or did he? Don't be fooled by the inviting colors of this Jack O'lantern chalice, for it is filled with the will of the Gargoyle!

Honorable mentions go out to another disturbing duo of gargoyle meets skull and bones in this premier of the Enjoy By Halloween glass, courtesy of @deford , and of course we could not let the efforts and determination (and shameless pandering ) of @cjgiant go unnoticed for many a vessel, but this Weihenstepahaner World Cup glass is a true beauty! The pumpkin innards orange coloring of Vitus (who died a tortured martyr) is a fitting way to end this installment of Freaky Friday!

Three interesting things about this birthday boy/below video:
1) he's actually a year older than Vladimir Putin
2) other than the drummer, I think every guy in the band has more hair than the women (Of course, we are talking about 1987...)
3) John's impression of James Brown about 2:40 into the video is pretty funny
