Maui - Blood Orange Lorenzini DIPA (can).. Go Tribe! Cheers!
Man this is great!
Masala Mama IPA
Bowzer: "Hey, Christina. I'm not sure where your boy @TheIPAHunter is right now but quite frankly, you and I must simply seize the moment together. It's you, me and some damn good Chicago beers. Whaddaya say?"
Dude, just for the heck of it sometime, maybe get something different from Stoneface for us when you're there, huh? Maybe?
Big Sticky Red IPA
It's already been awarded a second place award in the past. Don't know what the rules are for repeat winners. And I picked one up yesterday that made me immediately think "Hmm, I wonder when the next throwback Friday's going to be?"
Absolutely killer oatmeal stout.
Minneapolis Town Hall Brewery - Black H2O Oatmeal Stout
Since it seems I'm taking the day off, I'm starting the day with this. I usually don't drink in the morning but I just turned in my thesis, so I'm relaxing today. #NotAnAlcoholicJustAHobby
This brew tastes exactly like 95% of the so called Chilean (my country) craft beer tastes like. That means overly sweet, so not my favorite
Aaahhhhh, fall, my favorite time of year. When I get to watch the Cubs fans get all excited before having their spirits violently crushed like the bugs littering my windshield. Good times
Damn too bad I couldn't sneak away for lunch I'm like...500 feet away. Get the 3106 if you're up for the challenge...delicious beer! Cheers!
I figured it may be Christmas before we see this, so I took matters into my own hands and made a run to Michigan while the mutts were getting groomed this morning. Stone delivers once again with this masterpiece!
A frosty start this morning, but I saved my flowers by covering them last night. I wasn't ready to part with my summer beauty and colorful background for the beer porn. I really need to mow my lawn again, but I'm severely lacking in motivation and probably trying to talk myself out of it with this beer.
Happy Friday gang!
Good lord... This is just killer..
Minneapolis Town Hall Brewery - Project 3106 Barrel Aged Bruin with Choco and Kumquats
Way ahead of ya.
snacking and trying out the long trail citrus limbo sorting the recent acquisitions ...
Photobucket died last night, so I'll just post em now instead
After that monstrous T.O.R.I.S., thought I would go with two of my acquisitions found while wandering around Lake Geneva last weekend.
Careful Bowzer. You're "poking the bear" here with a very sharp stick. How is your 100 meter dash?
For those who are (not) counting, this is #3 with Christina..oh, but not JUST Christina anymore....and still no @TheIPAHunter which is fine by ALL OF US....
It is confirmed, this beer isn't for me! But I'm gonna kill the remains of the four pack....because Alcohol.
Metal Friday still a thing? Fuck it.
"For it is not the Singing of Angels that Beckon, but the Feral Groans of Death."
Cheers Beer Advocates and have a safe Weekend!
Oh, yeah, the beer bitch is back....tread lightly, though, sir (wink)
Absolutely gorgeous fall day
Haven't had this one in a while - darker and tastier than I remember...yum
tried logging onto the new call of duty beta but it isn't happening for me. Anyway this is straight up goodness, so different yet tasty.
Just went kayaking with the wife, enjoying my spoils from Allagash yesterday. Haunted House is friggin' delicious, but I could really drink this one all day. Light-bodied beer, just enough yeast spiciness, plenty of piney/citrusy hop bitterness.
Time to take out these Dirty Dodgers with 4 more wins and Make this World Series appearance!! Had some Celebration beers to follow the win against the Giants!
Go Cubs Go!
I will mow the lawn, I will mow the lawn, I will mow the lawn. Really, I will! But first......
How fresh is that one??
First of, my deep deep gratitude for my in focus coffee glass. And can't thank enough @Lingenbrau and his hard (or hardly) working team!!!
Celebrating with pils and flute.....
Picked it up in Council Bluffs last week, dated Sep/26. Tasting dank and a bit spicy, in other words, money.
In moderation. I got it.
Last night, got to finally enjoy one from Block 15. This one, while over a month old, was still juicy and hoppy. I'd love to try one that was even fresher.
Next was a can my wife brought back for me from Chicago. It wasn't as old as the Block 15, but it was much maltier. I have had this one fresher, it was much better then.
The night before, I had another one from the PNW. This was excellent, what I look for in a PNWIPA, resiny, juicy, clean finish.
Earlier yesterday, I participated in a march against domestic violence. I was proud to be a part of a movement, and I will forever be a "sheepdog". From my job before I moved out here and times I've stepped in when I see this disgusting display happening, I will do my part.
Okole maluna y'all! Be kind to each other!
It's one of favorite farmhouse ales. In fact this and Apex predator from Off Color brewing is what got me into the style.
This is a Decent DIPA.
(No Homer Though).
Oh, I am sooooo looking forward to this series!!!
