    Morning BA's and happy last Stein Club Sunday

    Got in a great 4 mile hike Saturday afternoon and another 3 miler earlier this morning, looks like some rain is blowing in.....

    For the last stein club Sunday, I broke out the tall boy. Easily could have fit three beers in this and damn is it difficult to drink out of. Cheers!

    A 22oz. Sam Adams Octoberfest and shepherds pie at the Cheesecake Factory on Michigan Avenue. Time to replenish after running the Hot Chocolate 5k earlier. Wind aside, the weather conditions were quite favorable. I just missed hitting the board, but ran a real good race. Enjoy your Sunday!

    Actually onto my second pour of this already - opened up with a breakfast of bacon-wrapped scallops, but my pics weren't up to snuff so you'll have to use your imagination...

    This was one o' those beers I don't buy too often - price being the biggest factor - this was a $27.99 bottle of a 13.4% abv "American strong ale" - being a blend of various Bruery products, mostly aged in bourbon barrels. I'm gonna have more to say over in NBS once I gather my thoughts and eat some crab-stuffed mushrooms... :wink:
