    No holiday week off for me, but we have had two days of Christmas celebrations.
    Unwinding now with a N'Ice from La Chouffe, one of my favorite winter beers.

    Tempting to stock up for the coming year.

    Laphroiag is a very peaty single malt to me; it does give off that rubber tire nose and taste. Definitely a getting used to thing. First time I had it I was not prepared for what was about to hit my tongue. :stuck_out_tongue:

    Went a bit AWOL over Christmas, but now it's time for beer! I had this a few years ago, and thought it was good, but not great. I think I need to get this fresh, this is about as fresh as American IPAs get in Sweden, and this was canned on 9/26. And at three months, it's good, but not great. This, however, is some great Swedish heavy metal...
