    This doesn't taste fresh at all. Nor does it taste like it would be any better fresh.

    Can't wait to break out the Mikkellers soon! Have 2x George! From 2011, Centenial Single hop ipa and a 750ml of draft bear. Excited!

    any idea how a RIS/Imp Pilsner black and tan would taste? Had a mad idea to do a Mikkeller George/Draft Bear one..

    Having a Mikkeller Centennial Single Hop IPA. A lot less head than with the Cascade I had a few days ago that was crazy foamy. Pretty subtle aroma and obviously a one directional flavour (due to the single hop, science!) Not too bad but not my favorite IPA. 3.25/5

    Mikkeller night continues.. 2011 George! x2. 1 only filled the snifter half way:slight_smile: have been wanting to try this beer for a long time and a store I had never been to had a case hidden in their back room when I asked about mikkeller. Needless to say I will probably be going back and grabbing the last 4. Huge coffee and toasted flavors. This be a winner. The reddish brown head confused me a lot. Don't think this was a BA variety?
    Is 11.11% and I don't taste any alcohol whatsoever. Slight warming sensation after I swallow but that's all.

    Just in general though. We have some really incredible beers but none of the good ones make it over. Honestly in comparison even stuff like Youngs Double Chocolate Stout, the Sam Smiths range and Courage RIS are pretty crap.

    Last one for the night. 750ml Mikkeller Draft Bear. Was another i was looking forward to trying.
    Tons of head, slowly disappearing. Smells like a weak pilsner. Could be due to age. Almost ipa like bitterness. Pretty cool cross between the two styles. Have I mentioned how much I hate fake corks? So hard to get out.
