New Administration, new beer, Burial Shadowclock Pilsner with a couple brats. Hoping and praying for good things in America's future, and hope Americans give the new president a chance.

Took today off my birthday tomorrow. Thought I would be imbibing earlier. Oh well! The chocolate really hits you up front, but what else would one expect? All the great quad notes come in at the end. Would definitely buy again during cold winter days, but it's supposed to hit 78 today.

I finally can understand what all the fuss is about when people talk of GI BCBS ❤️
This is my first time tasting it ever and it is truly decadent.
First pour of the bottle was at room temperature and was delightful as the smell and flavors just filled my nose and mouth . It warmed my entire body as I slowly sipped away at its richness. I put the bottle in the fridge and now have just poured the second half slightly chilled. First sip was tasty, but I am going to let it warm a bit and try to make it last as I watch the rest of this inauguration.
I think I have now tasted a brew so special that it will now exceed my highest rating , which I've given to Samichlaus Helles and Classic .
I clearly see now why people go to such extremes to get these bottles . I'm going to see if the manager possibly has one more tucked away , so that I could have one for the cabinet .
As a stout and bourbon lover this is really on another level and next time around I will make a greater effort to acquire some .
Interesting thing is the store I spend the least at is the one where the manager surprised me by asking if I would like a bottle.
    Hats off to that gentleman

It's been an interesting morning and once again I hope our country can heal our wounds and move forward.

    CHEERS MY FRIENDS !!!
