I've been using different glasses for the first and second pours from bombers. Can't say I notice much of a taste or aroma difference, but I love the visual changes.

This is the second half of my Odyssey.

Beer is smooth finishing, very fine... I know some of you will disagree, but for me, this beer edges out Trois Pistoles, Gulden Draak, and Chimay Blue... crazy, I know, right? But I really dig this beer. Like, if I had to choose just one (of the four), it'd be this one.

Just got done watching my kid play ball in near freezing weather with some flurries. I suspect there are few 9 year olds hating baseball right now:grimacing:. Torch Plisner from Foothills up first with a Hopping Frog Double Pumpkin on deck...

    Tonights new ones:

Nice doppelbock. Too fruity overall, but still have nice malt complexity; and it has a very pleasant creamy and slick mouthfeel that many US examples lack. Enjoyable stuff.

Glassware addiction #43. Picked this up 2 weeks ago, breaking it in tonight. This is a very nice Belgian IPA. Lots of brilliant lemon and orange-y citrus notes; with well balanced Belgian spicy esters. The glass is very nice as well, beautiful appearance and rising carbonation from the center. Looking forward to the Belgian Black DIPA I also bought when I got this bottle.

I love the packaging. Hell I love the packaging on pretty much all of 21st Ammendment's brews. Inside the can is slightly less impressive, but still not bad

Just got back from a CBC event in DC where I had on tap: Darkness, Furious, Abrasive, Sucaba 2013, and Jai Alai. I wasn't sure what could finish off the night so I figured I would give the Mikkeller Beer Geek Brunch Weasel Calvados edition a shot. I also picked up some cans of Coffee Bender, Abrasive, and Furious. It's been a good day....

Yummy sweet whiskey and smokey malt, pairs well with salty foods.
