Great classic tasting Gose as always. Flavors of lightly tart lemon, lime, grapefruit, pear, green apple, orange peel, coriander, sea salt, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light fruit tartness, citrus peel bitterness, and earthy spice on the finish. Very smooth and crisp; with light wheat creaminess and balanced acidity/salinity in the mouthfeel. Light-medium dryness. Medium carb/light-medium bodied. A really spot on example of the style. Not as acidic as most of the other American made Gose, but still has a solid amount. Extremely refreshing. We finally started seeing fresher packs around lately. Always love it, but slightly prefer the Anderson Valley lineup as a go-to style pick most of the time.

Tasting insane as usual, around 7 week old 4 pack. Flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, mango, pineapple, passion fruit, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper, and pine hops; with some light caramel/biscuity malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine/rind bitter finish. Medium bodied; sticky/resinous mouthfeel with a fair amount of balancing malt creaminess. Increasing resin dryness, and never astringent on bitterness. Super bright and dank on hops, and extremely drinkable. I always buy this, Columbus IPA, or White Rajah when I visit my parents around holidays. All completely amazing IPAs, I wish I could get them up here locally.

Delicious American stout. Flavors of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, cinnamon, raisin, nutmeg, vanilla, caramel, toasted dark bread, and brown sugar; with lighter notes of coffee, toffee, smoke, and charred grains. Moderate roast/char and piney/spicy hop bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied; balanced malt creaminess, chalky roast, and hop/spice stickiness in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness. I like this just about as much as the base beer for the most part, but it has some differences. Feels less aggressively roasty/bitter; in favor of the spice and toffee/vanilla notes. More residual sweetness, which helps showcase the flavoring better. Will definitely keep grabbing more singles, I'm a big fan of this one.

Outstanding imperial Irish red! Flavors of big caramel, toffee, brown sugar, brown bread, toasted biscuit, nuttiness, raisin, plum, apple, orange zest, and light chocolate/cocoa; with some mild herbal/floral hops and yeasty earthiness. Light herbal/spicy hop and roast bitterness on the finish. Medium-full bodied; very creamy/bready in the mouthfeel; touch of chalky roast and slick/syrupy character as well. Lightly drying from hop/roast bitterness; never cloying. This is definitely a new Short's favorite for me. I like the regular Magician, but it is a bit too fruity on the yeast. This dominates with great rich malt complexity out front; with nice complimenting yeast fruits in the background. Extremely well balanced. Will definitely keep grabbing these singles when I see them.

My dentist is a jackass. I made the mistake a few years ago of telling him I like a dip once in a while. Now I get the public service message every time I go there. Copenhagen is bad for you? You're kidding! Just fix my teeth clown.

Yeah, it's Monday, and a lot of us were over served yesterday, but a day on the planet has to be appreciated and enjoyed, so I'm doing that, cheers!

PS: I only had a couple, did the Sucks-Slam challenge, but I did eat about 14,000 chips, bad news on the scale today:slight_frown:

My wife is a Hygenist, so she would preach to you as well. She is not pleased with my dental failure...

If she met him she wouldn't like him either. I don't want to be accused if being an antidentite.

She's a Hygenist so she has a instictive dislike of all Dentists until proven different.

I am downstairs minding my own and my wife says she is going to take a bath upstairs. Cool. Then I hear a big clunk when she turns on the water and when she tries to turn off the water nearing a full tub the valve is shot. The water is running full bore. I run to the basement and turn off the newly installed intake valve to the new water heater. Crisis diverted. I will be calling the plumber back in the morning.

Edit. This Kansas and State game is close!

The photo isn't great, but the course is kind of cool. Now all I need to do is get some game between now and April 15.
