    Rare day off and most likely gunna be drinking some swilly beer later with some BMC friends (no choice), so I'm trying to get a few good brews in early, then off to some yard work til' evening. Cheers all.

    Pabst Blue Ribbon (I was curious to see what the hipsters were into. Back in my day, the hipsters were all about Rolling Rock. Frankly, I thought it sucked.)

    I decided to do a side-by-side comparison with Weihenstephaner pilsner. Appearance-wise, they looked identical (except PBR's head dissipated in about a minute, while Weihenstephaner's remained during the entire consumption.) The smell was the worst (moreso than the taste.) PBR is really foul, smelling like corn and dishwater. Taste-wise, PBR's blandness is only interrupted by an unpleasant bitterness, while Weihenstaphaner is sweet and mild throughout.

    If I wanted to guzzle a lot of cheap beer without any taste considerations, PBR is the way to go.

    Bottom line: Under analysis, hipsters are, and always have been, stupid.
