Nice! Back in the day, I seem to remember when "cold" was 20C - Einstein was right with his notion of the General Theory of Relativity...

No worries finding the limits and boundaries of what is and is not acceptable in this most interesting sub-culture...

It is about 45F, whatever the fuck that is in C, with a "feels like" temp of about 38F. That's cold for down here.

I walked into a brewery today and Run to the Hills was playing. It had been a long time since I've heard any Maiden

First American IPA I've had for a while. Tastewise it's like I never left however, you find the same flavor profile in various Swedish craft beers: caramel malt backbone without sweetness, American hop flavors, refreshing bitterness, overall clean flavor. It's pretty standardized and I could see there being problems for breweries trying to differentiate themselves as far as IPAs go, which I guess explains the rush to produce hazy, lower IBU IPAs, without as much caramel malt, since it provides a differentiating factor. But even though plenty of breweries produce the same basic beer, it still tastes great, and that's what matters.

BBA Pistols at Dawn. No entry for this but I'd give it the same rating as the regular version. The barrel doesn't really add much here.

I would have guessed 8C, so I was close. The metric system is so much easier than the Imperial or whatever we call feet and Fahrenheit. At this point, we, the USA, has so much pride and time invested in the antiquated system that we will never change. Whoever came up with either system should be taken out of the history books (I'm guessing some juice box named Fahrenheit is responsible in some capacity).
