Scored my first four pack of Dark Horse Plead The 5th Imperial Stout. Yesssssss.
I love Insanity...Me 2 Monday 0.
Now onto some Odell Red.
Let's go Hawks!
Totally agree. They should have at least kept "The idiot has finally lost it" as the motto on the labels.
Enjoying Victory's White Monkey. Totally recommend for a sipping brew
Pliny the Younger at the P.O.P.E. in Philly. Lucky enough to get two delicious glasses before the keg kicked
Then this the 2012 of this...
Wow they were still sitting on a keg of Younger?
Never finished my BA tasting last nite, gonna have the hebrew funky jewbalation & my torpedo, CHEERS ALL !!!
Pure happiness in a 4 pack. One of the best RIS available, in my opinion. Enjoy, and cheers!
im working on a growler of Columbus Bodhi from this afternoon. Theyre kegging it tomorrow, and I got it straight from the brewery. yea thats HT fresh.
Thats after I finish the Columbus Summer Teeth they bottled this afternoon. Thanks Tony!
I have a research paper due tomorrow....
Another delicious ass KBS!!! Too lazy to post another pic though.
For me, the toughest part of this one was the initial ~6oz. Once I got through that and it warmed up to about 50-55 degrees, I very much enjoyed it. If nothing else, it's a style I hadn't had before and didn't think would work at all. I give the brewers in this collaboration a lot of credit in that they tried something unique and in my eyes they pulled it off.
Palate Wrecker bottled 2/25/13, cheers!
Maybe a bit past it's prime as it seems to have lost its peppery rye spice. Still a nice beer though.
bell's porter, and before that a death by hops by olde hickory.
Yup. There were 5 or 6 Pliny events in Philly this year, today's was the last one. It was amazing though!
Resurgam, thanks to Valdieu2!
Now drinking some leftover home-brew: winter warmer. Less than fitting for a beautiful Spring day, but oh well..
Tank 7. Great beer for this type of weather here in IL. Refreshing so it makes you think spring, but big enough to warm you during this unseasonably cold day. (We get a lot of unseasonable weather here though lol).
Founders Imp. Stout...one of the best
Dunno if I was just spoiled by Hop Stoopid, but this beer isn't doing it for me. Syrupy mouthfeel and quite malty for a DIPA. Might be going down the drain.
A bit disappointing after double jack
Got better as I got used to it
Pliny on tap in Philly? Lucky.
Earlier today but just got around to posting it
Time for some hops!!
Enjoyed a Jai Alai that I snuck into the Twins game earlier today.
Drinking a damn Two Hearted while dinner is in the oven.
Was (surprisingly) good, had to have another. Now just have to decide which Girl Scout cookies to pair it with: Samoas or Tagalongs..
Mr. Otis is jealous of my Nugget love
A Belgian Pale Ale in a Belgian Style Tripel glass. Fitting? I think so.
Had regular BORIS last night. I prefer this one.
Phils lose. Ughhhh........score 5 with Cole up you need to win.
Free Will Citra pale ale.......last of a sixpack. Gets worse each time. Taste of cardboard , if you imagine the citrus you can just smell it. bready cardboard. I just dumped it and grabber a PBR. Much better.
Great beer, earlier today.
Isid'or (Sp?) Trappe....it has that classic Belgian flavor that I love
