Good afternoon ba's. Wheat ales are pleasant feeling on the palate during sunny days.
Whether they used US grown Saaz hops or Czech Saaz, doesn't matter to me.Bell's Oberon tastes great once you pour all the yeast in. Cheers

Good early afternoon BAs. I'm in Bamberg, DE, so add six hours to EST and it's evening here. Well, IMGUR is blocked mt McAfee this evening on my computer so no pix, just text. I found Schlenkerla after only going a couple of miles in the wrong direction and then back because I crossed the wrong (Unmarked) bridge before turning right on the correct road. When I finally got there, it was two quick 0.5 L of Marzen Ranchbier and no pix - too tired and overheated to think straight. Later, it was dinner at a Chinese restaurant (Insert photo of beer here) followed by a 0.5 L bottle of Weiherer Pils (Insert photo of beer here) followed by a return trip (of about 15 minutes, now that I know where I'm going) back to Schlenkerla (Insert photo of brauerei here).
WAIT!!! I just brought IMGUR up in Chrome (Rather than Firefox) and it'll let me in, so photos of dinner:

This Schlenkerla shot doesn't show the lineup of (mostly) dudes on both sides of the street drinking their beer. It's 2.90 euros for 0.5 L but they also throw in a 2 Euro deposit for your unmarked generic glass. Now I understand.

Cheers until tomorrow when I change locations and move to the Fassla braueri gasthaus. Whether they have internet or not is anyone's guess.

I've never seen this in the US but a couple of years ago I picked up a sixer in Arles. OK as I (vaguely) remember.
