Yeah man! Not a bad beer either, I was surprised when I grabbed a single just to give it a try...went back for a couple four packs the next day. But dam...Pete is a sneaky dude being so drinkable at 10% lol

Smuttynose Noonan black IPA... probably only the second or third black IPA i've ever had. Don't know if I like the style or not but dang this beer lingers for a long time on your palate after each sip.

It's like the rye waits until you're most vulnerable. You take a drink, swallow, and just as your mouth starts to dry out - the spiciness hits you and the beer tastes more bitter than it really is.

Oh yeah, it goes great with chili too!

Just finished a 9 mile run and prepped a homemade deep dish pizza. Now, it's time for a side by side 2011 and fresh 2013 KBS. They look nearly identical. The 13 had a bigger head on the pour but when they both settled, lucky I put em' in 2 different glasses or I wouldn't tell them apart. The 13 has a deeper coffee and bourbon bite. The 11 has a deeper rich chocolaty goodness. Despite threads to the contrary the mouthfeel is identical thickness. The 11 wins for me but I can see some preferring the 13. Amazing beer in any case.
