What beer are you drinking now? #1802

Trying this post again. Somehow it got screwed up (yes, the fault of yours truly). BTW, this beer brewed by Triple Crossing is awesome. I hope they brew it again.

 

Probably because I fucked up. Put my toys away and used my wife's iPhone and tried to copy the location. Not smart enough I guess to make it work. Got my own phone which I have linked to my desktop photos and all is well with the world. Posted it again.

 

Ok, dinner done been ate, and trade got accomplished. Does seem a bit lopsided that I gave @jvgoor3786 a few different fresh beers (mostly), and he gives me the same beer, and some of them are years old


At least the Prairie Standard isn't one of them. Rated this highly a while ago and first I've seen it 'round here. Yep, I still quite like it. Wonder if the store has any left.

To my in-person trade partner, hope you enjoy the beers, didn't expect or even maybe deserve a vertical that at least took a little patience. No doubt I'll report back how it goes. Cheers!!

Checked out a new place tonight. Great beer selection including one from a new RI brewery Ragged Island.
Hydrofoil a DIPA, DDH with Mosaic and Citra. Very Cali-like in its look- no haze but superb in flavor. Dynamite brew.

 

Made it to Vermont safely...a small, but necessary need to celebrate:
Round 1: Packaged 5 months+two days:

Expensive on both sides of the Atlantic, this is a brilliant beer:


Round 3:
Golden Delicious (Captain Lawrence) is a beautiful and unique take on a barrel-aged Tripel. I am thankful I was able to obtain a couple of cases of 16oz cans...very rare in this area.

Keeping it light with a box salad for dinner. The wife was embarrassed that that's all she served. It took another week after the power came back on to get the refrigerator fixed. Being that we fly to NH this Friday there's no reason to stuff it now. The last thing we want is leftovers aging while we're gone. I have 1 more Hoptimum left. I think I favor it over the Waldo's. Next season I'll prolly buy a six of each instead of a case.

 

What is up. How's everyone tonight. I'm having a Gumballhead after a pretty bad day. My fuel pump went to shit on my way to work and I had to get a tow. The only place I take my car is a little shop that's connected to a Mexican grocery store downtown. I love those guys. I got to watch Happy Gilmore in Spanish while sitting in the waiting room. Awesome. I miss Mexicans. There aren't very many in Portland. If there is one thing that sucks here, it's the Mexican food.

This may sound bad, but I never buy an Indiana beer without recommendation. I've been burnt too many times. These guys have potential. Dank Candy as advertised & packaged 9/15. Enjoy what's in your glass tonight BA!

 

The little evil guy that ran his Grandma's retirement home was the best. The voice was simply phenomenal.
