    Made it down to Asheville NC for the first time. Spending a few days eating, drinking and in the mountains. First stop is Wicked Weed. Pernicious for me, and black raspberry Saison for the wife.

    Happy Sunday, fellow virtual barmates! Having a job after three years as a stay at home dad may mean getting the chore list done on Sunday, but it also means that when I'm done, I can do my annual birthday tradition of cigar, fire, and Zhukov a day early.

    Great you are enjoying the beer!
    Beautiful flight back about a 20 knot head wind. The visibility was astonishing picked up landmarks at home 90 miles out, been awhile since I flew and the visibility was that good.
    That beer gets much better as it warms.

    This is one of two pork butts almost done while the second is simmering in my fresh Chile Verde sauce made with fresh tomatillos and Anaheim peppers that I smoked. It's going to be awesome...
