    Damn, that brings back so many memories as I went to Gstaad, Switzerland for 3 weeks back in Jan.-Feb., 1981. We drank a case of the Feldschlosschen Hopfenperle each day. Every morning one of us four (two couples) would bring a case of empty liter bottles to the bakery and bring back a full case of beer plus fresh croissants for breakfast before heading up to ski on the glacier, Les Diablerets! It was so, so nice to come back to that chalet for those liters. Cheers!!!

    I've really been impressed with the IPA's from this brewery. They have a definitive flavor profile which includes large amounts of tropical fruit, but also lemon/lime citrus and resinous/piney flavors. Of the three beers I've had from them I seem to get these common elements. Tasty stuff.





    I cannot believe it's been 20 years since Chris Farley passed away. Time flies. RIP.

    Lucky to just get Melvin distro on Mass. Only Wyoming beers Ive ever had and they are damn good. The Asterisk DIPA w/Mosaic is stellar.

    Checking in with a Nowhere In Particular Batch Number 013 Imperial IPA brewed with lactose and lemon juice that @LeperJim was kind enough to send my way in a box of Christmas goodies last week. A balance of citrus and malt that for some strange reason reminds me of Founders Devil Dancer. Thank you again my friend!
