Don't do pictures, but fresh Double Dorado, followed up by a fresh Firestone Double Walker. Laissez les bons temps rouler! Enjoying my time in SoCal, for I head back to the deep south tomorrow.

 

Oh yeah, packing this SoCal haul up wasn't easy. Ziplock bags, wrapped in clothes outta do it though. It's like beer Tetris, but the loser gets luggage soaked in expensive beer. So far, I've gone at least 10 years w/o a mess, hopefully I get it done again this trip.

 

**Double Jack, not Double Walker**

 

I tried it for the first time last weekend. It was very good, but there are countless double IPAs that I would put before it. I will admit. Many people may flame me for this, but it blows Hopslam out of the water. But many DIPAs do.

 

There's a small stamp between the border under "Jackson Hole, Wyoming" and the bottom of the can. Hard to read sometimes.

 

I made myself a cuvee.

Went to Mekong, Hardywood, then had a bottle share with Shilt et al. Yesterday I had:
Union Jack and Perennial Aria (Mekong)
Hardywood Bourbon Cru, Hoplar, Twilight Weiss, Quad, and Tripel at Hardywood
Maine Lunch, Voodoo Buffalo Trace Black Magic, 2010 Third Coast, Jester King El Cedro, Captain Lawrence 5 Years Later, and Pretty Things Jack d'Or at the bottle share. All in all, a good day.

 

That should "second" bomber.

 

Of course with a group of friends..
