Shorts did a fucking great job on Prolonged this year. Just tons of hop flavor that is well balanced.


I completely forgot how good this was, bought a fairly fresh 6 on friday. I don't care who you are, this brown ale is amazing. Just so flavorful and robust.


Drinking the Oatmeal Porter again after 3 weeks carbing. This is shaping up to be a damn fine brew. The first time I made a porter with American Ale yeast instead of English, and it still finished at 1.020 because of the oats and 154 mashing.

I know a lot of people didn't like 12.12.12 but I think it's incredible. I thought they would overdo it with the sweetness but it's balanced very well.

Upon first sip I thought it tasted terrible. I checked the date and saw "Bottled on 12/17/12."

Sonuvabitch, it's ancient.

However, when I checked the profile, it said it could be cellared for long periods. What gives?

 

That is one fine ale you have there. Maybe you just don't like hop bombs?

 

SA Longshot Magnificent Seven. Not a bad DIPA. Love the Longshot concept.
