Delicious pale wheat ale. Fantastic head retention/lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, melon, and red apple; balanced wheat, white bread doughy malts; light notes of green pepper, pine, herbal/floral/grassy hop and yeasty earthiness. Very mild herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; and yeast spice on the finish. Medium carbonation, light-medium body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Bready/grainy wheat and light sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter/spicy dryness. Very flavorful/refreshing, 5%. Never watery. Spot on stuff as expected. Great balance of citrus/fruity hops and pale/wheat malts; with underlying fruity/spicy American wheat yeast character. Would buy again. 3.93

Another from @The-Adjunct-Hippie. Glad Empyrean is BB dating things now. This was pretty nice. Murky pour, great head retention/lacing. Aromas and flavors of juicy/lightly tart strawberries, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, and toasted dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of coffee, nuttiness, smoke, dark fruit, herbal/grassy hops, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/grassy/roast bitterness, and berry tartness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; creamy/bready/grainy malt; light sticky hop, chalky roast, and fruit acidity in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing tart/bitter/carbonated dryness. Very easy drinking. Nice balance of fruit, cocoa nibs, and dark/roast/bready malts. Their English house yeast was not quite as clean as I hoped for, but it's not overwhelming. Very tasty overall. Lower carbonation would have been better, but it wasn't detrimental to the mouthfeel. 3.68

Thanks @MacMalt. Awesome IPA! Awesome head retention/soapy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, green pepper, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, white bread dough malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced creamy/bready/grainy malt and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light resins/rinds, increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Super drinkable, never aggressive, 7.1%. Columbus, Citra, Idaho 7, and Cashmere hops. Outstanding balanced juicy/dank hop complexity; nice pale/wheat malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness. This was a collab with Interboro, Other Half, and Barrier. Spot on stuff. 4.1

My first Toppling Goliath beer didn’t disappoint! Dangerously crushable at 6.8%! An excellent showcase of the hop Citra!

BTW, @SawDog505, here's what I thought of my journey.

The pour produces a brilliant, atomic tangerine hue mixed with shades of apricot. Cloudy like your Aunt Ruth's cataracts, this milkshake leaves a tremendous amount of broken guitar strings and cave pattern drawings in its wake. The last time I saw this much lace, I was drinking Everclear at a sorority party circa 2005. Cracking the can, I was ambushed immediately by an intense aroma of tropical fruit that engulfed my surroundings like Dante's Inferno. Taste follows with specific attributes of star fruit, papaya, mango, pineapple, Tropicana, cherry Starburst, muted acai berries, and subtle hints of conifer. The feel is soft and creamy, bolstered by the same pillowy comfort found in a Duxiana bed. Good lawd, this is some gourmet shit!!! The last time I saw moves like this, Ozone and Turbo were introducing the masses to breakdancing on the boardwalk of Venice Beach. Welcome to the world of next-level IPAs, Kettlehead. From Hunter's lips to God's ears. This one is LARRRGE!!!

Another fantastic big Evil Twin stout. Big time cinnamon and chili here, bitter hazelnut finish. Man, we are lame, this will probably be it for us for today. Shot. Burnt, haha

Moderate to vigorous pour yields no head, no lacing with a black body. Nose of roasted malts, dark fruit, chocolate, and booze. Taste mirrors nose with a rather thin feel. Finish is very nice bitter chocolate and a bit of bourbon. Overall, I guess I may have waited a tad too long to open this. Live and learn.
