That's back when there three channels & no honey boo-boo. He mostly watched sports, news & Westerns
am grilling while drinking La Fin Du Monde from unibroue, a Belgian Ale Tripel, ABV 9.00%. The flavor is wheat biscuits, caramel, banana, pear, clove, some yeast flavor, barely noticeable alcohol. Flavorful but not aggressive. I think it is a very good Belgian Tripel.
Taking a break from the thug life for a few minutes to drink this beer that @joe1510 gave me
At Noble Ale Works, sipping tasters of YES! Yes! Yes! (hazy ipa), Gam Gam’s Peach Cobbler Ala Mode (sour), and of course, my desert island beer, Naughty Sauce:
Still tasting fantastic. Flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, and pine hops; with moderate honey, bready, light caramel malt sweetness; and floral/grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus rind, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium-full bodied; with balanced creamy/slick malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin/rind dryness, no hop astringency. Not overly sweet or bitter either way, extremely well balanced. Lightly boozy alcohol, but dangerously easy drinking. Never disappoints. Finished off the last of my 2 packs. I can work on all my Waldos now. Need to find a 3rd 6 pack of Waldos if I can.
Still tasting amazing! Aromas and flavors of huge milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, marshmallow, graham cracker, vanilla, brown sugar, toffee, bourbon, toasted oak, coconut, and dark bread; with lighter notes of roasted nuts and coffee. Light roast/char bitterness and bourbon/oak spiciness on the finish. Medium-full bodied creamy/silky mouthfeel; with some light spice stickiness, chalky roast, and oak tannins as well. Lightly increasing bitter/spicy oak dryness. Mildly increasing warmth of 11%, minimal booze. This is just a touch above Coconut Rum Barrel for me. Best one so far by a very small margin. The S'mores flavors are absolutely enormous and authentic feeling; but still great balance of the base beer malt and barrel characteristics. Plenty of barrel presence; the spiced versions like Chai had overpowered the barrel, but that is not the case here. Still have a couple left, and plenty more Salted Caramel. Cherry Chocolate is coming in this week, so I will definitely be getting a couple packs.
Crying because its my last of this fabulous brew feom Collective Arts. Simcoe and Citra. Aroma, flavor, drinkability. This has it all. @vabeerguy
One of my favorite artists- singer- songwriter-harp players of all time. Doesnt get enough credit.
Pizza Boy Peach Sour Ale-
Long day at work, winding down with a Marble Pilsner.
Cheers to that.
Bell's Whiskey Barrel Aged Cherry Stout, this is one that that never met my expectations, sadly. Maybe if I aged it a few years...
As the homebrew forum is debating how to go about brewing a dubbel, I thought I would refresh my memory with Rochefort 6 and Ommegang Dubbel. Back to back, in that order. Probably been 5 years since I had the Rochefort, and 10 years since I had the Ommegang. The Rochefort has a rich, fullness and sweetness to it, but still manages to pull off a dry and fruity finish. The Ommegang has a thinner body, has some candi notes around the edges, but seems a little less body in the middle? Sorry for such non-descript descriptions. Enjoying both, really.
Fair enough. Thanks for the response.
Awesome brew, 7 mos. on this can.

Love that brew!
A great finishing beer.
Time for some Wrench Northeast style IPA.
This is one features a pithy explosion of Citra and Mosaic unlike any other beer I ever had.
Cheers all you Nocturnal BAs!
My final can of La Cumbre's Helles Lager.
Had a couple of good ones tonight.
Started with Signature Oak-Aged Imperial Cream Stout:
And currently finishing a Hopsmack!
First time w/ this baby... Lez give it a go:
Yeah, I'm not a Hef guy either. But that one is pretty good. I asked my brother to bring some out to put in boxes. On another Hef note, I finally popped one that @r0rschach sent me from Live Oak. That was even better.
Nice and thank you again!
Love this series from Fremont.
Jester King Vague Recollection (Syrah & Sangiovese - Batch #2 - October 2017)
Christening my new glass somewhat properly:
I went to a show tonight and took some crappy pics:
North Coast Beachmaster-normally enjoy their beers more than I did this one-somewhere I saw it reported as like a dbl Red Seal. Regular Red Seal I like more, flavor on this was not what I was expecting. Cheers anyways !
Odell Rupture PA watching Macmafia
Pizza Boy Get a Grip IPA-
Looking for the "like this post 1000 times" button. (this button should be available for all posts from a ZZ Top concert).
Anchor Steam at Anchor's new Taproom! Just wonderful. Fresh, this is a beautiful beer.
Heading to the hot tub as soon as the This Macmafia is over. Sam Adams New england IPA. Peace out LNBA'ers!
This one is 100% full of Vic Secret hops and its amazing BAs!
Cheers all your Nocturnal Animals!
Another new one I've been seeing around. This is the kind of beer that makes me love my cat more. Get it if you see it.
Ellicottville Island Gose. Brewed with orange, guava, and passionfruit. Not as prominent with the passionfruit and guava as I would like, but it is orangy and tart throughout and pleasantly salty. It's a solid gose.
Is that a colorless beer?
This beer is PHENOMENAL!!
I don't use that word often unless it's basically one of the best things I have ever experienced.
There are so many flavors that are going on but meld perfectly together here. Coconut, chocolate, warm caramel, sappy bourbon, oak, marshmallow!! All of it is just ugh so amazing.
4.88 out of 5. I always leave that 5 out of 5 spot open. Maybe it will never be filled. This one got pretty damn close, though!
I have too many beers in my fridge right now. Yeah, I know, that doesn't sound like a problem. Har har. But I have so many IPAs they're getting old before I can finish them all. Time to keep clearing out the fridge.
Glad you liked it!
Also I did the lager quest a couple years ago, and also a malt liquor quest. Needless to say I'm glad that sacrifice is over. I've tried pretty much all of them, but it was a tough couple of months
I'd love to try that sometime in a future repeat trade
I just want to follow up my Funky Buddha post by saying that I just poured my second chalice and there's still half a bomber left. It's so rich and deep I feel like I've consumed two beers already. And after this pour, it's only HALF gone!! There's so much value in this beer. This thing is like 4 prairie bomb's. Wowza.
@StoutElk_92 I'm kinda sad I traded you my other bottle even though you send AMAZING stuff!! Enjoy it brother!
