So this is my first Waldos of the year.. I took a whif while snapping the pic and thought hmmm. Then I took a sip and it hit me immediatly, this is what the original Lagunitas Sucks tasted and smelled like. Well done Lagunitas, Cheers!

My first Rahr & Sons beer. I've sent a couple of these Iron Thistles out on trade (one I think went to @superspak), I bought it on recommendation from the beer store guy.

I think it's fair but there's much better scotch ales out there. I think superspak liked it much more than I, which I'm happy about!



Not much on the nose except for some brown breads and crusts, light toast on the flavor with some smokiness and dark malts. A lot like a Doppelbock. I was hoping for more sweetness and some depth. 3.62 out of 5.

 

Not sure if everyone will think it is proper,but i want Smoke on the Water played at my funeral,followed by having a beer on me ,i'll pay

 

Picked up a bomber on Enjoy By that I found at the grocery store, my photo won't post for whatever reason but y'all know what they are. I'm way late too the party cause of work(on a damn friday, what a shame) but cheers BA.

Another new to me beer from my home state, South Dakota. Very nice porter!



Aromas of dark breads, chocolate, toast, coconut, and dry cocoa. Flavors of smoke, herb, salami, chocolate, caramel, banana rye bread, and yeast phenol. 3.99 out of 5.

Happy 4/20 everyone, and my, is this year's Waldo's tasting incredible! Lagunitas always knocks it out of the park.

 

A really fine beer sent by @superspak ! Was not expecting this to be as juicy and balanced as it was.



TONS of blueberry in the aroma! Great Mosaic presence, with some nice pine and lemon notes. The flavor follows suit with slight pine resins and peach, papaya, and again with the blueberry! Feel is slightly chalky but holds up the pine resins with zero alcohol burn. 4.16 out of 5.

I'll regret it but popped open a Bitches Brew, and it's gonna be the first bottle I keep. Bet none of you losers can say Miles lived 20 minutes from your house. Good stout, too.
