I guess you all were right. This is a fine Helles.

 

LOL! Had two more. (Not pictured) Needed the wife to drive home tonight.

 

Moving on to the next beer I found, only found 4 so I have 3 left. Lucky me.

13 August 2010 bottle. Bought a case in DE back in September 2010. Forgot about these.

So good. Smooth heavy body caramel no notice of 10% anywhere woody smell and taste vanilla comes out in the smell and taste.

Such a great transformation from the fresh IPA.

A real good beer fresh but so much better with years on it.

Think I'm going to go buy a few 4 packs and hide them away till 2025 or later

Folks who bitch about IPA freshness need to reconsider this IPA with age.

Great picture. I've never tried that beer. I'll have to grab it if I see it fresh.

this is a lot more chocolate tasting now.

 

This is excellent. The only beers to which I would compare this are The Bruery anniversary and Melange series. It falls into those categories. I am sipping it while watching trailers of the new movies that I look forward to watching this year.

Haha that was clearly on the TV when I took the picture and it went to mute when I started aimlessly browsing IMDB. I assure you that at 13% ABV the beer in that picture is still the beer I am drinking now haha

 

"Best By" is July 22 and drinking quite well.
