Some Rhonda Drove us There by Green Cheek. Very smooth IPA, but I miss bitter pine and citrus. Still excellent stuff though.

 

Outside chores finished in the nick of time as the skies opened up. Skadoosh XXIII: Citra & Simcoe Cryo Hops.

Drinking this amazing BFF while I do yard work

 

Tons of head to the point of spilling over, which I was surprised by. First time having, and now that I've tried this and Heady, I have concluded that I do not like Alchemist's signature profile. (My wife, OTOH, liked them.)

This is very similar to Heady overall, with a very sweet base up front, hops mid-palate and aggressive bitterness to finish. I think I like the hop profile more here than Heady, but to me they're not too different because the sweetness and bitterness are the dominant notes. I just feel like the flavors are not integrated.

I have a Focal Banger left to try in my fridge, so we'll see if it changes my mind.
