    I don't know...an Italian doppelbock?!



    ...and I like it!!

    Dark amber body topped with a one-finger thick head, dense and creamy. Big aroma of caramel malts; pecans. Classic doppelbock sweetness; flavors match up with the aroma; a slight bit of alcohol; some low-key hop bitterness. Heavy body; smooth and velvety; plenty of heavy residual sugars coat the palette.

    I would not think of an Italian doppelbock product, yet here one is and it does the style justice. Dense, malty, with just the right edge of booziness. Fine stuff...

    I gave it a 3.99 overall rating.

    Here is another delicious IPA, courtesy of @AdmiralOzone, brewed a few miles from where I was born, in Minneapolis, MN. This beer is so good, it will probably go down more quickly than Kirk Cousins when the Minnesota Vikings come to Titletown, USA, in week 2 of the NFL season.
