Old Nation Full Earth

 

No one wants to take a blacklight into that garage.

 

The whole bock family is pretty well represented in Italy, actually, and all of the major players seem to have a bock, maibock and doppelbock. Not too many get exported, though.

 

@TheIPAHunter handed me this glass, since I just broke my last one. We are getting shook up together. I am sticking with IPAs selected by @AdmiralOzone.

 

So it looks and has the carbonation of beer but tastes and smells like coconut rum!

I like rum, but if you don’t you should steer clear.

 

We definitely have many excellent Pilsners in my area, but Jever is still king to me and I love when I can grab a reasonably fresh case-

gonna miss this when it's gone...

I feel like I stole it.

They're like B+ versions, not as good as their German neighbors but surprisingly better than what you'll see from most American craft brewers. When I was on the Amalfi coast they were the best beers available and I indulged quite a bit .

In the bigger cities is where you'll actually find the actual Italian 'craft' beer scene.
