    My buddy's wife got a baby shower, we gave him a beer shower. They aren't craft beer drinkers, but I did my part to introduce a wide variety. Enjoy By was the favorite, even if it was a day late!

    Nice day's end. Another local brew...Tall Tales John Henry. Dry Stout at 17 IBUs and 4.7% ABV. Finish with a dark in the dark. Good stuff!

    Cracked another first timer for me. Dogfish Head 60 minute IPA. Bottled 5/02/2013.
    Taste is good but nose reminds me of PBR/HeIneken. I better do another test run.

    Goose Isand Sofie on tap @ MAXBURGER Longmeadow, MA.
    ADD 3 gourmet hotdogs (bacon and onion jam; cheese and chili with freshly sliced jalapeños on top; kimchee and siracha.)
    AND a roasted half chicken with asparagus.
    Sofie a bit sweet at points, but you would get quite a smack if you tried to take it from me.

    Went to the Brick Store Pub today for the Changing of the Guards. Got these on tap:

    New Glarus Raspberry Tart. Love this beer.

    Green Flash Silva Stout. Really good.

    [​IMG]


    Bruery Humulus Lager/IPL - love Hoponius Union and Double Agent so I had to try this - great hoppy lager.

    Also had samples of MAZURT (13% imperial stout with some really hot peppers), Bourbon Barrel aged Siberian Night (even better than the GF Silva), Coast Milk Stout, B Nektar Zombie Killer, Dogfish Head Bitches Brew 2010, Brett and No Mices, and Left Hand Ambidextrous 2 Dopplebock (holy bacon!)
