I got my clothes put away and clean sheets on the bed. Time to tackle the kids clothes before getting more from the dryer.

Daily lager review from Ohio. Very good AAL. Good head retention and minimal lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of cracker, corn, white bread dough, and lightly toasted biscuit malts; with some herbal, grassy, peppery hops. Bit of fruity corn aromas, but not overwhelming. Light-moderate herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation, light-medium body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Bready/grainy malts and some sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing lingering bitter dryness. Very flavorful, pretty refreshing, 5.3%. Not watery for the ABV. Very clean lagering, minimal fruity/yeasty notes. Clean barley/grain flavors, and nice earthy hop presence/balance for the style. Not overdone on corn adjuncts, very enjoyable. 3.75

Very nice golden imperial stout. Decent head retention and minimal lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big nutty dark roast coffee, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, honey, caramel, vanilla, cream, and toasted biscuit malts; with lighter notes of apricot, cherry, golden raisin, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Touch of booze in the aromas as it warms, but not overwhelming. Light herbal, grassy, peppery hop; and roasted coffee bitterness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and fairly full body; very creamy, bready, grainy malt; light slickness, sticky hop, and chalky cocoa/coffee. Lightly increasing lingering bitter/roast and spicy alcohol dryness. No acrid/astringency. Lightly increasing warmth of 11.1% after the finish, minimal booziness. Dangerously smooth sipping. Haven't had many of this "style" before, but this is one of the better ones. Great balance of cocoa/coffee/cascara tea and bready malts; with balancing bitterness. 3.88

This is probably my favorite song on the whole album. It comes up every day on my Spotify playlists.

My faith in bourbon barrel aged stouts is restored. I don’t drink much The Lost Abbey due to price and availability. This is a fantastic beer.

    Ah, now that's better...

Some deets from the can: double dry hopped west coast style IPA, collaboration with some local pubs and eateries (T.J. Finley's, Local Burger Co., Kingsbridge Social Club, Forest Hills Station House, Bronx Alehouse, and The Astorian) - it's got the Local to Locals logo on it, too, which is a local movement to get locally-brewed beers to local independently-owned businesses... We're loco for local here on Long Island lately... lol

I'm so inundated with NEIPAs these days this was like a real slap in the palate - a genuine west coast-style beer! ...Meaning, it features pine and resin instead of citrus and fruits... Medium-light weight, moderate carbonation, nice bitter shellac with woody, rustic, earthy characteristics... Very mild sweetness from dull citrus fruits lets the chewy pine take the fore, with supporting impressions of grassy, vegetal and herbal notes... 7/10 canning...

Some Bad Wallpaper. Pretty good, but I’m tasting a bit of yeast or something muddying it up.

Lakefront My Turn Mike Brown Ale. Excellent one-off, unless you drink it right after eating M&M's.

Needed food, had some cheap frozen fried fish in the freezer so I managed tacos. Not bad actually. Roasted corn salsa and sriracha lime mayo sauce helped a lot.
