    Today was a good day; enjoyed a long walk around the small city of Beauvais in Northern France; stayed there for lunch too. Just got back home and « rewarding » myself with a Chouffe and mini croissant and pain aux raisins. (Raisins: grapes)

    More hotel beer as we slowly get started today (though this came from home, on our way out of town):

    Adroit Theory Devil Made Me variant: w/vanilla aged in bourbon-infused maple barrels.

    The smoke and spice of the serranos comes through still, just a little extra sweetness from the maple and vanilla and a wisp of bourbon.

    Had that one a few weeks back. It was pretty good to say the least compared to your take on it :wink:
    Just had Launch by them last night, found it so-so. A nice DIPA but not a NEIPA by any means. A bit too peppery for me.
    There was another one floating around out there think it was Oscar the space cat or something like that, I dont know :thinking_face:

    Having some Canada for breakfast today.



    Barley wine aged in bourbon barrels brewed with maple syrup and coffee.

    Nice coffee bite with a swirl of maple sweetness balanced off with the classic english style Barleywine smoothness. Very little barrel detected.

    Great stuff!
    Should go great with my spam & egg sandwhiches :blush:

    Getting ready for some footbal, we have Florida Atlantic for an opener. Since I am living in Arkansas, I will get to see this on TV. Usually the first game is pay per view ( in Oklahoma ), we usually schedule doormats ( not this year ) for the opener.

    Sweetwater 420 Strain G13 IPA... pretty much Sweetwater's attempt at a Hemperor... not nearly as offensive, very good.

    When I’m in Disney Animal Kingdom, got to ride Everest and follow it up with an Old Elephant Foot IPA. I don’t know if anything has changed with this beer, but it tastes better than I remember. A lot of grapefruit - and I mean that in a good way.
