    Totally NOT extreme. I'm not what you would call a Porter man, but I do love me some Southern Tier flavor bombs. I don't know what they were trying to accomplish here, but I hope their beers from now on aren't as muted as this.

    It is a fan kind of evening... Jacks Abby/Lawson's Smoked Maple Lager and the missus is enjoying a Jacks Abby Leisure Time. Watching the Bruins game, miserable cold and rainy day here in New England, so no Saturday BBQ...minor setback!

    Rabbit in the Rye from Good Nature Brewery. It's a pale ale brewed with local upstate New York barley and rye. Great peachy and grapefruit kick and a nice dry finish. It's quite a hoppy and spicy pale ale. Easy drinking at 5% alcohol.
