DuClaw's PastryArchy Imperial Pumpkin Spice Stout...
Delicious and roasty, not too sweet, more of a stout than a pumpkin ale, nice accents of pumpkin and spice, drier than I expected, mild bittersweetness of chocolate...

Yes! I cannot complain about the bottle shops here. Hazel's on 28th and Walnut is reliably very good and has a nice mix of hard to get bottles with really fresh locals. There's also North Boulder Liquors on North Broadway--lots of gems to be found there. Liquor Mart off Canyon, which has been around for ages, is unfortunately, a shadow of its former self and rumored to be closing soon. Wyatt's out in Longmont is tops as well if you're out that way.

Awesome NEAPA. Nice head retention/soapy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, watermelon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, biscuit dough, light honeyed malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; creamy/bready/grainy wheat, light sticky hops, and slight resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth/soft finish, not aggressive. Minimal warming 6.16%. Outstanding Simcoe, Citra, El Dorado profile. Extremely juicy and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone; mild residual sweetness with lingering dryness. Really big fan. El Dorado is definitely becoming a favorite now, since it is being used a lot more often recently. Citra/Mosaic have always been top favorites. 4.1

More huge Bruery stouts. This was fantastic. Poor head retention, and no lacing as expected of 16.2%. Aromas and flavors of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, cream, fudge, bourbon, toasted oak, nuttiness, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of coconut, molasses, licorice, raisin, plum, fig, date, cherry, smoke, char, leather, tobacco, and yeast earthiness. Some booze in the aromas as it warms, but not overwhelming. Mild herbal/roast/char bitterness, and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and fairly full body; very creamy, silky malts; some stickiness, chalky roast, oak tannins, and light slickness. Lightly increasing lingering bitter/tannin dryness, no acrid/astringency. Smooth sipping, mildly increasing warmth of 16.2%, minimal lingering barrel booze. Mostly on par with base Black Tuesday, but less high on alcohol; so a little more drying. Very rich dark/roast/bready malt complexity; with balanced vanilla, fruity yeast, and amazing bourbon barrel integration. Not overly boozy/tannic. 4.2

Every year Michiganders (including me) would complain how Founders sent all the Barrel-aged stuff all over the country and only a small amount stayed home. That hasn't been the case in at least a year, year and a half. I can go to any shop around me and get some right now. The Founders in Detroit is twenty minutes away if I want KBS.
The only Barrel-aged series I can't get is the one I want: DKML.

TL,DR: Come up to Michigan we have plenty
