Drinking this from Brouweru Nacional Balashi

8 oz bottles @GreenBayBA could get 6 of these in one hand.
It has a little more zap the the Balashi lagers I’ve been drinking all week. It’s pretty sweet, crisp and would be a nice beach beer. Sticky sweet and ingredient list is water, barley and hops. Best by date of 1/19.

Another Trimtab. This was an excellent saison. Fantastic fluffy head retention and thick foamy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big juicy cucumbers, fruit skin, lemon, peach, pear, red apple, melon, white grape, peppercorn, and light banana/clove yeast; with moderate wheat, cracker, biscuit dough malts; herbal, floral, grassy hops, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate peppery yeast spiciness, and herbal/floral/grassy bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation/body, and moderately crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky hops/yeast in the mouthfeel. Slight tangy fruit. Light-moderate increasing bitter/spiciy/carbonated dryness, no astringency. Very flavorful/refreshing, 5.4%. Great well rounded saison yeast complexity, and balanced authentic cucumber flavors; with a nice pale/wheat malt backbone, and minimal residual sweetness from crisp dryness. No one likes cucumbers apparently according to the overall score. This was spot on style to me. 4.03


Another new Big Lake NEIPA. This was delicious as expected. Fantastic head retention/soapy lacing on the glass. Flavors of mandarin orange, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, biscuit dough, light honey malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Similar/muted aromas. Light pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light resins/rinds, and increasing dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth/soft feel, not aggressive, minimal warming 7%. Great Amarillo/Mandarina showcase. Very juicy and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; nice wheat/oat/malt backbone; mild residual sweetness with lingering bitter dryness. Really well made for the style as expected. 3.91
