What beer are you drinking now? #2201

Hello LNBA. I took the day off tomorrow to spend time with the kids on Halloween. My daughter has a school costume parade at 9:30. She’s dressing up as Skye from Paw Patrol. My son who turns 1 in a couple weeks will be a monkey. I’ll be Slash. I tried to get my wife to dress up as Axl but she refused. Maybe next year.

Since I don’t have to work tomorrow,
I’m enjoying this high octane, OG, Other Half IPA that I’ve never had until this current “DDH” version, All Green Everything.

I’m looking forward to spending tomorrow with the kids, taking a ton of pictures and dressing up as one of my childhood (and adult) idols. I guess AGE is what you make of it, and I’m making the most.

 

Not bad overall slight spoilage but good flavor profile, some orange creamsickle and berry with pine. 4.06 out of 5

 

Hey! I’m thirsty here. Impressive DIPA from Sixpoint.

Ensconced in Velvet



Enjoying my first offering from bissell brothers in the form of UMBRA, a truly delectable oatmeal stout that nails every single aspect I could hope for in this style of beer.

Espresso with cream, roasted chestnut, some ash, hint of smoked meat and a dash of dry charred oak. Underlying notes of milk chocolate that finishes dry with cocoa powder. The mouthfeel is perfect at nearly room temperature. My palate, wrecked by hops, is ensconced in velvet. If it were socially acceptable I’d....well, you know.



For those of you older millennials, thank god for nickSPLAT. If you haven’t watched it, you’re doing a disservice to our generation.
