This one was a real nice surprise - nice coffee and pumpkin flavors throughout

 

Shoeless Joe brown ale from Strike Brewing. A very good beer.

 

I bought that with little expectations, but it turned out to be quite good.

 

Fruit for breakfast, please.

Gosh dang, I love this style and PAA nails it. I could just sit here and smell this beer and be happy! FYI we don't pay outrageous $ for PAA in Nebraska so $7.50 a bottle IS worth it.

 

I’d love to drink more Prairie, but not at the $10+ a bottle they charge here in SoCal. Cheers, brotha.

This is a cross-post with the beer and food pairings thread. In addition to some King Sue, for brunch, I am having some fruutluupefisk, a traditional Norwegian delicacy.

 

White Elm is great! They are easily becoming a favorite for many people here in Lincoln, NE. Their range of high quality brews for a 2 year old brewery is impressive. Some stuff doesn't even make it out of the taproom nowadays because the can releases sell out during the event. Awesome seeing this on WBAYDN in the AM Cheers!

 

The local grocery store down the street from me just got that and for $7 something a bottle. I will surely grab one or two. They have also have Double Dunk and Hugs for $8 something a bottle that I keep passing on because the adjuncts just seem too sweet for me.

 

My son's third birthday party is today at the San Antonio Botanical Garden's. Wife is in her usual birthday party freakout mode, so this delicious stout will make her tolerable.

 

White Elm is one of my top three Nebraska breweries, no contest.

Now if http://www.boilerbrewingcompany.com started distribution on a regular basis.......

I think that brewery will be in high demand in a year or two. Simply amazing what they do. I mean, fuck... TWO 18.4% IPAs (IIIIIPA) on tap right now. Double Imperial German chocolate cake RIS aged on coconut and Hawaiian coffee. Cider-Mead mashups. And everything is on point. We just don't see that kind of intuitive genius in Nebraska.
