SweetWater did a nice job with this, IMHO. This has a “best by” date of 12/11/18, and it’s holding up well.

Stuck at home with no food, and no money for food, and nothing to do. Got a trade box packed up though, which is always a nice distraction. There may not be any food in this house, but there's beer, and beer is food, so really, everything is perfectly fine.
Tree House Sap, courtesy of Matt, drinking absolutely fantastic at nearly a month old. Orange and pineapple juice galore. Fantastic. Cheers!

Very cool can, all black with white design, black cap, black pull tab

Can poured into a pilsener glass

Hazy orange , two finger big finger off white foam cap, quickly recedes

First sniff had a subtle saison yeast, whiff of a tart apple or wine, as it settles i get a dank , earthy aroma

First sip is suddenly sweet and then a rush of dank

Low sudsing, bit of alcohol, dankness lingers but doesn’t bite

Nice beer

 

Now I know why I prefer 16 ounce cans - baby 12 ounce bottles go down way too quickly. If I may channel the brilliant @jzeilinger here is numero-el-two-o! Cheers!:

 

Single, Double now a triple IPA. This one from Black Hog Brewing, Triple Nelson IPA. Good Stuff!

 

BCBS 2018 Regular, first of the year. Nice, seems less boozy and a bit sweeter than last year. A bit meh compared to the variants. Going out to supper with friends on Saturday, and the restaurant has BCBS Regular and Wheatwine on tap. So regular with supper, Wheatwine for dessert.

Early nite cap? BCBS (2018):

 

I was really impressed with the BCBS beers this year. I sucked down my haul in a matter of days! And did you say, “hey Raul, judge them!” I would reply, “ok!” 1. Vanilla 2. Bramble 3. Wheatwine 4, barley wine coffee ... also, a ‘14 and ‘15 regulars I had were brilliant. Cheers to the Doctor!

 

Great Brut IPA. Great rocky head retention/soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, red apple, mango, watermelon, berries, citrus peel/rind, dill, mint, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, white bready malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, woody, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation, light-medium body, and moderately crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, not overly aggressive, 6.2%. Pretty sure this is El Dorado/Lemondrop. Very vibrant, dank, and earthy hop complexity; solid pale malt backbone, with no residual sweetness from crisp resin dryness. Very well done style as expected. 4

One of the Melvin's to finally make a trip to Florida. This Hop Shocker is really nice with taste/nose/feel...

 

Harpoon Dunkin’ Coffee Porter- actually not bad. Coffee taste more pronounced as it warms.

 

Not quite as delicious as their Juice Bomb, but still really tasty in its own right. 2-and-done tonight, later y’all.
