    I enjoyed this a LOT better than the Lager and I'm really not sure why anyone would prefer the Lager unless they don't really like Rauchbiers :stuck_out_tongue:. Check NBS for a proper comparison (soon).

    Starting off with the delicious bourbon barrel aged stout brooklyn black ops.. This was the very first barrel aged stout i ever had and I always pick up multiple bottles each year.. It just holds a special place in my heart cheers

    Very intense coffee flavor in this Surly Grind Core, an espresso milk stout. If you like coffee bender then give this one a whirl. Cheers!

    A disappointing sake yeast and rice adjunct beer...



    To begin, any beer that doesn't leave any lasting head is a let down. The taste for this one is rather unique but not necessarily pleasing (at least to me). It seems to entail a combination of medicinal/phenol notes with a semi-sweet Reisling quality with an overlapping mild booziness. I tried this beer twice over several days, and the impression from today's can remains much like my first can.
