Friday night off and celebrating my new gig. This works!

 

N.N. was one of the first beers that really made me say wow ! Bummer that two or more gives me a serious headache. I don't know why N.N.does that to me but it's bad. How'd you feel yesterday

 

Such a great beer that seems to get overlooked in the CLE.

 

Bourbon County Brand Bramble Rye Stout

Excellent session IPA. Great rocky head retention/foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, orange juice, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, light peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toasted malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, anf fairly crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky hops; some resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, pretty refreshing. Very flavorful/not watery for 5%. Feels like a lot of Citra/Simcoe! Very juicy and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; great bready malt backbone for the ABV. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Would buy again for sure, one of the better session IPAs I've had. 4

My last of these. The Blues somehow beat the Capitals 5-2 yesterday. I saw the last 3 goals and they were all by the Blues. They have a lot of talent, but little consistency or chemistry.

 

Pretty tasty brew.

Do they still brew wheach ? I think O'fallen pulled out of Ohio a few years back for some reason. I loved that beer.

 

I do not get hangovers either. Sometimes I wish I did so I could temper my consumption. I do get semi-brain dead though. I know folks think all my posts are semi-brain dead.
