    Completely agree and would even go so far as to say that they could probably easily make the world-wide top ten as well. While Frau Gruber have disappointed me a few times lately, I never had a beer by Cloudwater that was anything short of awesome, would love to try one of their stouts/sours.

    How did you like that Cannibal King, by the way?

    A new beer for me this afternoon - Odell’s “Wolf Picker” IPA brewed with Strata hops:



    Strong mango nose and taste. Guava, passionfruit and grapefruit. Dry bitter earthy hop linger. Tropical fruit flavor shine. Clean, lite and crisp. A thirst quenching IPA. Iike!

    While Orca Brau make great sours, I've never had an IPA by them that I truly loved and this is no exception, unfortunately.

    I wasn’t a huge fan of Cannibal King... a little too malty and boozy and too many floaties. Good, but not great.

    Cloudwater’s sours and stouts are very good, from what I’ve tried.

    Glad to see you are drinking a Virginia beer. Just curious. Did you get it in a trade, during a visit to Williamsburg, or can you buy it in your area (I assume you live in Minnesota)? I have had just two from this brewery but have been meaning to try some more.

    Wow, this is fantastic. Local Total Wine got a case and limited it to one can per person. If I knew it was this good, I'd have sent my wife to pick up another. Alas it's long gone now. Cheers.
