Something new for me from Buckledown, Clencher 1. I'm guessing it's their take on a NEIPA. Nice beer, but i prefer the original. Guess I'm not a NEIPA kinda guy.

TGIF BAs. Altho there are 1 or 2 Craft breweries closer to my home, I would consider Brix City the closest as far as significant breweries where I appreciate their offerings. Tomorrow they are releasing their best barrel aged stout series called Silk City. So I am breaking open last year's version, the vanilla bourbon barrel variant. Quite good imho. cheers

Hittin' Up The Breweriez. A DIPA brewed by Veil. I have to say, that this DIPA and the DIPA I had earlier are two of the better brews Veil has released the last few weeks or so.

Straight liquid brownie. Pretty nice stout, reminds me a bit of Pirate Bomb without the barrel. Wife is out of town this weekend, gonna be a long night. Cheers!

Delicious pale lager. Fantastic rocky head retention/soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of lemon, orange, citrus peel/zest, cracker, white bread, biscuit dough, pepper, herbal, floral, and grassy hop earthiness. A bit too muted/fruity aromas. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation, light body, and moderately crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very flavorful/refreshing, not watery for 4%. Perfectly clean lager flavors, no fruity/yeasty notes. Great balance between clean pils malts and citrus/earthy American hops. Very well made as expected. 3.91

Cloudy soft orange body with a thick, sticky head. Strong aroma of pineapple, grapefruit and mango. Tart and juicy taste with a strong bitterness and edge of booziness; citrus pith; biscuit. Heavy body; very dry throughout.

Most definitely juicy, dry, and bitter beer. Powerful and enjoyable.

Brau Brothers Tiramisu Moo Joos, 5.8% ABV. Pours black with a nice two finger tan head that left no lacing. Nose is an incredible amount of chocolate, plus vanilla and lactose, taste follows with some sweetness and no bitterness. Decent mouthfeel, if slightly over-carbonated. Overall outstanding. This is the best Moo Joos series stout that I've had so far.
