Flavor is fading on this a bit but it’s still good

I quite enjoyed that beer - and I've decided I like beers with spruce tips given my experiences so far.


This beer has no spruce tips. We hit Asheville about 4 years ago now, I think, and had a Green Man beer or two. I can't recall thinking they were all great, but we did take note of the brewery out of the handful or so we visited.

Local shop got a shipment last week, and since we had too many beers in the fridge, I chose only one. I like my choice:


Could be a tad more bitter if I wanted to be overly critical, but something about it makes me wonder if they have it on cask around NC at all. Anyone?
