Drinking well, definitely a sipper, but not too hot. Surprising balanced and great pumpkin flavors that work great with the rum.

Homebrewed rye pale ale for a club competition. We all brew the same recipe, blindly judge every entry and the most voted for beer wins. Pretty happy with how mine turned out - about 25% rye, and plenty of Columbus and Cascade hops.

Time for these two to square off .... i honestly prefer the PseudoSue. Kinda like choosing between Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Alba though, you win wither way.

Green bush Distorter porter. My sis in law was over last Saturday and asked for a light beer. I gave her one of these and she liked it. Cheers!

Very cool that he buys the produce locally, I've had hot pepper beers in the past and they never did much for me...until this one. Heading to Buffalo next week and hope to swing through Horseheads for some fresh bottles and growler fills, I've been really impressed with just about all of their stuff.

My 2nd favorite Surly brew, I am on the WI/MN border so I get them all. Way better then Furious IMO... Furious is more of a hoppy amber then an IPA. Did a side by side with Furious and Ale Asylum Ambergeddon(hoppy Amber) They were very similar with Ambergeddon edging out furious in taste a bit buy price a lot.

Long story short, Overrated kicks ass!

I can see kind of a hoppy amber deal from furious. Never had ambergeddon, grabbed some bedlam in Wisconsin though. That's a damn tasty beer. Cheers!

Have an awesome trip and bring that knowledge back to brew some great British style ales and also some American inspired versions of the same beer. 'Sounds like an awesome summer, I'm jealous. =>

Bedlam is one of my favorites, I actually prefer the citra in Bedlam with the Belgian yeast to the Citra in Zombie Dust and Toppling Goliath Pseudo Sue... I know I am in the minority on that (which is fine by me). The Belgian yeast does wonders with the hops in that beer! If you ever get a chance I highly recommend Ambergeddon and Hopalicious from Ale Asylum.
