Icarus Yacht Shake. Canned 04/02. Nice mango and orange rind with subtle vanilla, malt, and crisp bitterness. Watching Game 1 of the Thunder/Blazers series.

First off, congratulations to Tiger Woods! When he he plays well it gets me interested in golf. And when the Thunder play the way they are now, I loose a lot of interest in Hoops Playoffs.

Did a 90 minute hike on Mt. Sequoyah. Stunning Spring day, tons of Dogwoods & Redbuds blooming, all that runoff from last night's rain had all the the run-offs flowing.

Now on to the beer, a find from my time down in Dallas, Half-Life Hazy IPA from Manhattan Project Beer Co.

Stunning Spring Day here as well. Snowing nonstop since 11am, 4 inches of slippery slush sticking around. I saw two spins offs and one multiple car wreck on the freeway.

I was enamored by this beer the first time I had it. I was enamored over the course of a year or so beyond that. Yet, things always change. The pour is shit; the nose is familiar; the look is way darker than I recall. Here we go, again. Let's see how she tastes.

Always have kept a liking to a well done Nelson hopped brew! A dose of Motueka doesn't hurt either. Nice and grassy with a little white wine grape. Some places can pull off the New Zealand profile and some can't. Riverlands hits the mark for me!

@Coronaeus and NBS X-Post #3. Awesome NEIPA. Fantastic rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, watermelon, red apple, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, woody, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced creamy/bready malts, sticky hops, and some resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, nicely soft, not aggressive, minimal warming 6.5%. Awesome El Dorado showcase. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; with a great balancing wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. Very impressive. 4.13

This is nice enough, but has a bit of an overbearing acidity, rather than a nice tartness, to it and the apricots, while present, are not especially assertive either in the nose or on the tongue.

Started with Korbs. I love this beer. Always the same taste no matter the age.

Seen this rebranded to a can? Taste better than I remember. Maybe because it was canned on the 3rd.
