My Bengal cat decided to jump INTO my fridge while I was putting groceries away, and knocked my poor little Abuelita on the ground. No respect for his elders, I say!

Shit's about to get real here ba (in terms of thunderstorms, rain, etc.) This is decent stuff, but still a pretty booze mess, not that I'm against that in any fashion. Not nearly as good as the yearly release of Sucks from the days.

I'll come out and say it - Witbiers as a general statement are boring, but this one is not and was told to expect a good beer from this one. This is the best Wit I've had in at least a year. A lot of them are too heavy on pepper, or grass, or spice rack. This one holds back and rests nicely in the fruity wheat ale camp while still having that lovely clove bite. Smells like a perfume that should be called "perfect summer day". Tastes of Banana creme pie, apples, pears, citrus, coriander, then faint lavender and dry grass. Really fantastic stuff. I landed at a 4.21 out of 5. Time to throw one in a box I'm about to send.

I went food shopping earlier and spotted fresh strawberries @ $1.99/lb. I looked in one of my thermoelectric coolers for a chilled chocolate porter or stout and found this sour from PA instead.

500 ml. bottle.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 1/2 inch white head over a golden body with no lacing. Nose of strawberry, lemon and oak. Taste mirrors nose somewhat with the sourness taking over big time. Okay feel and overall, an okay to good stab at an American Wild Ale. I added a few sliced strawberries to a 2nd glass and enjoyment increased quite a bit. Cheers!
