I graduated from Wilkes College (now known as Wilkes University). Yuengling and Stegmaier were one of my basic food groups.

Centennial IPA brewed by Founders.

 

The chicken sandwich was great. Had some kind of spicy seasoning. The ketchup for the fries was weird though. Had cinnamon in it.

 

Damn straight I’m drinking from the can. I am a mad man.

 

This is a tasty old school DIPA.

 

Keeping the train chugging along with a Sand City/Magnify DIPA collab...absolutely delicious. Spoiled in ‘19, for sure.

 

Perrin Brewing Lil' Griz Brown Ale. I picked up another sixer of cans tonight. I would choose this over CCB Maduro. Cheers!

 

Rumor has it that @scream was getting upset that I have not posted a picure of my cheap wine in awhile. Well, after five beers at the bar (I took lyft home so do not bust my balls @DoctorZombies) I decided to hit the cheap wine when I got home. Here it is my friend.

 

Lots going on with this particular Singlecut. Lighter citrus, orangey lemon goodness, comingled with some grassy hay type herbal vegetal bodaciousness

 

Another Flossmoor RIS I got recently. This was fantastic. Lasting head retention/soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, molasses, vanilla, toffee, bourbon, coconut, toasted oak, roasted nuts, biscuit, and dark bread/crust; with lighter notes of licorice, raisin, prune, fig, date, smoke, charcoal, leather, tobacco, herbal, grass, peppercorn, pine, and yeast earthiness. Minimal booze in the aromas as it warms. Light pine, herbal, grass, peppercorn, roast/char bitterness; and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and very full body; very creamy, silky, velvety, bready malts; some sticky hops, chalky char/roast, and oak tannins in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter/tannic dryness; no cloying, acrid, astringency. Dangerously smooth sipping, mild increasing warmth of 13.6%, minimal lingering barrel booze. Amazing balance of super rich malts and bourbon barrel presence/integration; with balancing earthy hops and restrained fruity yeast notes. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Just as impressive as the other BBA stout I had from them. Less fruity and more malty. Spot on English style. 4.23

Starting the 4 day weekend with a Toppling Goliath Hopsmack. A palate wrecker to set the tone!

 

And I did my friend. I do not worry about the heart thing (my diet is atrocious) although the lyft driver told us he lives in Atlanta but was in Richmond to help his sister who just had a heart attack. Only age 33! Probably just bad genes. He said she is doing well.
