    Man, this is some really tasty shit. Load of flavor for the relatively low abv. That last one went down too fast, had to have another. Enjoy the day and remember why we have it.

    I am drinking Black Metal from Jester King, Texas, ABV 10.50%. Black Metal is a weird beer that comes out good. It is a Belgian Saison and an Imperial Stout at the same time. Jester King specializes in Belgian Saison and experimental concoctions, beers that taste very unique. Sometimes it works well, and sometimes not, you be the judge. The flavor of this beer is roasted dark malts, chocolate, some coffee, as well as tart cherries, grapefruit, yeast, and a bitter coffee and grapefruit rind like hop bite at the end, not too different from what you often taste in a Belgian Saison. The body is not full, oily, or silky like a good stout, but something between a Stout and a Belgian Saison, somewhat light for a Stout and tartness and soda like carbonation. It's weird, it's Jester King, but it works
